May Update

We still have space for YOU to volunteer this summer!

Re-Member brings hundreds of volunteers of all ages and backgrounds to the Pine Ridge Reservation for week-long service-learning trips with a strong emphasis on cultural immersion. Working with our staff, volunteers complete various projects across the reservation while learning about the culture and history of the Lakota people.

We believe that in addition to providing direct, tangible support to the Oglala Lakota people, the strongest way to promote positive exchange in one of the poorest areas of the United States is to build relationships. Through relationship building, our volunteers become advocates to stand in solidarity with the Oglala Lakota people.

Visit our website to view availability, and to begin the trip reservation process today!

A bountiful harvest from the “Feather II” community gardens

Help grow our gardens on “Growing Tuesday”

Join us for Re-Member’s second-annual Growing Tuesday! On Tuesday, May 3, we asked for your support to help grow the “Feather II” gardens. All gifts received on May 3 were 100% allocated to program support as we continue to expand our gardening project.

Help grow our community gardens with your generosity.

You can still be a supporter with your gift today.

Support the Oglala Lakota artisan community

Shop our Re-Member online store for an always-changing selection of handcrafted Lakota crafts, paintings, and more. New items, purchased directly from local artisans and crafters include paintings by Kevin Poor Bear, quillwork jewelry by Nyla Red Cloud, and original ledger art by Quinton Maldonado.

All purchases directly benefit Oglala Lakota artisans and support Re-Member’s ongoing work across the Pine Ridge Reservation.

On behalf of the Oglala Lakota community we serve, thank you for your continued support.
